He said it was one of the toughest things he’s ever done but it was one of the most rewarding. He’d like to thank everyone that donated and supported him throughout the challenge.

We’ve already asked him what he plans for this Christmas to which he replied “No comment!” I’m sure in 2013 we’ll have more fundraising ideas coming up.

Each day, the destination will be relevant to the story. On the 8th day of Christmas my true love gave to me ’8 Maids-a-Milking.’ Here, Paul will run just under 10 miles to Lanchester Dairies from his home in Durham.

Hill Valley MD Paul Stainthorpe says “Coming up with a new corporate identity can sometimes be challenging and eBay have stuck with what has worked for the last 17 years. Clearly they’ve ditched the floating, overlapping letters and replaced with them with a more traditional, simple font. They’ve wisely kept the same colour scheme though as I think replacing this would have been a step too far. The font eBay deciding to run with is Univers Extended and personally I love this font. If eBay’s brief was to capture a cleaner, more contemporary look, they got what they wanted. I only have a slight issue with the kerning. Some letters appear to touch, others don’t but it’s just a minor observation. Had eBay chosen the new logo 17 years ago, they would’ve been lost in the crowd. For a company that’s wanting to move forward with a more contemporary experience, I think they’ve made the right decision. I honestly think Yahoo will be the next online giants to follow in eBay’s footsteps.”

Heather Sitarzewski wakes up at the crack of dawn to make her eight-year-old son’s lunchbox for school, full of the things she knows he’ll love.

While many working parents pushed for time will throw some slices of bread together with peanut butter and jelly, Heather’s elaborate lunches can take up to an hour to assemble.

Taking a creative approach in everything she does, the graphic designer and illustrator from Denver, Colorado makes edible depictions of Disney characters using fruits, vegetables and other delicious lunch foods.
